AI Empowerment Observatory — created and developed by Kedma Hamelberg
I am Kedma Hamelberg, PhD, the founder and developer of AI Empowerment Observatory. A public research platform examining how AI developments affect human capability, creativity, autonomy, rights and control.

What you can explore
The Observatory separates collected reporting from distinct developments and makes the underlying evidence available to explore. It brings together five discovery markets: Canada, China, France, the United Kingdom and the United States.
Readers can explore the reporting behind the findings, examine weekly results and consult the methodology. The platform distinguishes changes reported for people from changes reported for AI.
My role
I conceived and developed this project as part of my applied AI research. It connects my work on digital behavior and decision intelligence with a public resource for understanding AI and its human impact.
